Wedding Music

Wedding songs are an important factor to consider when planning your wedding.  I have been playing at wedding ceremonies for the past ten years and I would be happy to help you out with your ceremony.

You can choose any songs you want for the ceremony and I will learn them.  I also have a list of some songs that I have played at wedding ceremonies in the past that might help you decide on which songs you would like to use.

How Many Songs Do I Need To Choose?

Here’s an idea of what you might generally need to have a song for during your wedding service.

Introduction Music – while guests are arriving and being seated

Processional Song – while the wedding party enters

Signing the Registry – while the guests sit and watch the signing moment after the ceremony

Recessional Song – while the wedding party and guests exit

This is a minimalist approach.   You can choose as many songs as you like.  I have played at some weddings where there have been just one song – Signing the Registry – and I’ve also played some weddings where there were 10 songs.  It’s always up to you and how you want your special day to be.

Usually I will begin playing the introduction instrumental piano music when guests begin arriving right up to the moment before the service begins.   I also am always sure to continue playing the recessional song until all of the guests have left.

As part of my goal to help you decide which songs you would like to use on your wedding day I will be posting some clips of certain popular songs for you to preview.  This is a new feature that I am working on getting underway so please check back soon.
